Shabnam is the founder of Empire Injury Advocates, PLLC, a New York-based personal injury law firm dedicated to fighting for injury victims and ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. As a fierce advocate for those harmed by negligence, Shabnam is committed to providing client-centered legal representation with a focus on compassion, transparency, and results. She understands that an injury can turn a person’s life upside down, and she works tirelessly to hold insurance companies and negligent parties accountable.
With a deep passion for advocacy, Shabnam ensures that her clients are not just cases—they are individuals with stories, struggles, and futures worth protecting. She takes pride in helping injured victims navigate the complexities of the legal system, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need.
Beyond personal injury law, Shabnam has built an impressive legal career spanning business formation, estate planning, and real estate law. She is a Partner at Zaheer Law Group, PLLC, where she helps entrepreneurs, families, and investors build and protect their wealth. As a Foreclosure Commissioner for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, she plays a critical role in ensuring compliance in foreclosure proceedings.
Shabnam is also the Broker of Record and Chief Operating Officer of OnyxGroup, a real estate development and brokerage firm she co-founded to increase access to homeownership and real estate opportunities in underrepresented communities. OnyxGroup made history as the first MWBE developer to build in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, Shabnam’s journey as an attorney has taken her to New York, a city that has been instrumental in shaping her legal career and entrepreneurial vision. Inspired by its dynamic legal landscape, she established Empire Injury Advocates to serve the people of New York with integrity, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of justice.
Shabnam is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School and holds a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
She is admitted to practice law in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, and the United States District Court of Massachusetts
Jahangir Jay Zaheer
Jahangir Jay Zaheer, is a graduate of Massachusetts School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate and numerous academic awards. While in law school Attorney Zaheer become SJC 3:03 certified and represented clients as a student Attorney.
A native New Yorker, Jay Zaheer moved to Massachusetts in 2001 to finish his Bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts. Upon completion, Jay moved back to New York in 2002 where he began his legal career working for Personal Injury firms as a Litigation paralegal.
Jay returned back to Massachusetts in 2006 and began working as litigation manager for one of Boston’s top 100 law firms. In 2008, after 6 years of legal experience under his belt, he went on to pursue his Juris Doctorate degree from Massachusetts School of Law, where he graduated in 2011. Jay was admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts on a state and federal level the following year and has been practicing law ever since.
Jay is currently a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is a guest speaker at Medford Community Housing, CHAPA’s and Veterans Benefit Clearinghouse Development Corporation. “First Time Home Buyer Programs” seminars.
Attorney Zaheer has extensive personal injury experience and a multicultural background. Attorney Zaheer’s ability to relate to people from all walks of life and his extensive experience in the legal field, has led to many legal victories for his clients.
